Description
The NP Max Adapter lets compatible NovoPen-series pens use standard 3 mL cartridges without modifying the pen. Remove the original NovoPen cartridge holder and replace it with the adapter. No spacer is required.
The NP Max Adapter was designed by Max Headroom and is offered with his authorization.

Its a love-hate with this adapter. I love the design, and both Max and Amex B are super nice people. The adaprer is very convenient drop-in, and makes Novo oh-so-friendly. I had three of these (March ‘26) models break at the thin threaded neck, however. Fishing out the broken pieces without damaging the pen itself is a separate and annoying PIA. For what its worth, they seem to break when the pen is cold, as you press the plunger, when the cartridge gets to be empty. Make a fishook out of recom needle to help with fishing out pieces. I suggest you give it try – it really is nice, and design evolves, but if it goes sideways for look for sunny on STG vendor spreadsheet for a far less convenient but in my experience a more robust mod.
